Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains how M4 Infotech ("we", "us") handles data in StreamFlow Media Player for Amazon Fire TV and on this website.
1. Data we collect
| Data | Why | Where it is kept |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and sign-in tokens | Your StreamFlow account | Google Firebase Authentication |
| Device ID, platform and device name | Enforcing the device limit of your plan | Our backend (Google Cloud Firestore) |
| Amazon user ID and purchase receipt IDs | Verifying in-app purchases with Amazon and activating Premium | Our backend; payment details stay with Amazon and are never shared with us |
| Playlist profiles you create (name, playlist URL, any login in that URL, settings) | Syncing your profiles to your other signed-in devices | On your device, and an encrypted backup on our backend (see below) |
2. Profile sync
When you are signed in, your playlist profiles are backed up to your account so they appear on your other devices. The backup is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is stored, and only our sync service can read it on your behalf. Playlists, channel lists, favourites and watch history are not uploaded; they stay on each device.
3. Data that never leaves your devices
- The contents of your playlists and the media you watch: the app connects directly from your device to the sources you add. We do not proxy, record or inspect your streams.
- Links sent with "Paste link from phone": they travel from your phone to your TV over your home network only.
- Favourites, watch history and parental-control settings.
4. What we do not do
- No advertising and no ad tracking on Fire TV.
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that profile you.
- We never sell, rent or trade your data.
5. Service providers
We use Google Firebase / Google Cloud (account, backend, encrypted storage) and Amazon Appstore In-App Purchasing (payments). Optional features contact public services only when you use them: the Radio Browser directory (internet radio) and Cloudflare (network speed test).
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account exists. You can delete your account and all data linked to it at any time; see Delete account. Deletion removes your account, plan record, registered devices and the encrypted profile backup. Purchase records Amazon keeps are governed by Amazon's privacy notice.
7. Children
StreamFlow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by contacting us. If you are in the EU/UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
